Lately I’ve been searching for black businesses all over the web. I happened to find a ton on Instagram. I was like a pirate finding treasure for the first time and I’m so excited to be sharing these wonderful businesses with you all. Let’s get started!
Conscious clothing for conscious people. They also have dashikis, snapbacks, shades, and more!
3.@weareonyx / http://shop.weareonyx.com/ A monthly subscription box that I have yet to subscribe to.You’ll get samples from the best beauty products for black women. It’s great for product junkies like myself.
I literally bought one head wrap from them and fell in love.I get compliments on it everywhere I go.Their prints are beautiful and unique just like the women who model them.
5.@nomosecouture / http://www.nomose.bigcartel.com/ Beautiful Ankara fashion.I plan on buying from them in the very near future. There’s no harm in looking at their wonderful photos and imagining myself in those outfits right?
It’s not a shop but it is a business.Let them help you get your money and life together. They even have an app that helps you manage your expenses.Check it out now!
7.@nakimuliinc / http://www.nakimuli.com/ They were gone for a little while but now they’re back with an amazing collection.I’m so upset because I’ve been looking for the perfect African print coat and they have it but, it’s sold out.SOLD OUT!!!I was too late this time but hopefully they’ll get more in stock.I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
Afro-British home décor is what they make.I absolutely love their pillows. The prints are amazing and unique. If you want to liven up your place, follow them for some inspiration and hopefully some new pieces to add to your home.
Ok so they’re not exactly black-owned but indigenous people need love too.I just really love their products especially for meditation. They are wonderful, kind-hearted people. They deserve to be acknowledged.
When I first found this store, I fell in love.It was created by an African American woman of Nigerian heritage. You’ll want to buy everything once you visit the site but try to save some money for the seasons to come. They have a lot to offer!
One of the first Black-owned stores I followed on Etsy. They have beautiful clothes and I know I say that a lot but I really love clothes. They also have some very nice winter coats so you can be cute and warm this season.
15.@webuyblack / https://webuyblack.com/ They just recently held a fundraiser to expand their site (and yes I donated some money). It’s a marketplace for Black sellers.Their motto is “From One People, For All People.”Beautiful.
I believe that all of their pieces are made from pure love and energy.I purchased a pair of their earrings through The Wrap Life and they are my absolute favorite.I feel like a goddess every time I wear them.
You should checkout pretty much everything they have to offer.Head wraps are their main specialty but the jewelry is breathtaking.Oh and if you’re not sure how to tie your head wrap, they have tutorials.
They sell their clothes on Zuvaa and I can honestly say most of it is sold out within a few hours.Everything they make is pure gold; so beautiful.Once you see their page, you’ll believe me.
This is another monthly box I plan on subscribing to.Their boxes are so fun and they give you more than just beauty products. The beautiful Jamaican women who make these boxes are so helpful and sweet. You can feel their dedication.
Books galore!I absolutely love to read.I usually read 2 or 3 at a time.“The Afrikan Library is the number 1 online ebook store with an extensive library of black African…Afrocentric literature.”Check them out!
I am making sure that I tell every man in my life about this box!“Introducing the first and only subscription service for the conscious gentleman.”The boxes are hand-packed and every item you receive is from a Black owned business.Well done gentlemen!
I love this subscription box especially because have a slew of items from black owned businesses and you never know what you’re going to get.Just expect greatness! They have subscription boxes for men and women.
